Free page speed check
Slow pages lose visitors and rank lower, most of all on phones. We run Google’s own speed test on your page, add what real visitors experience, and explain the fixes in plain words.
Google is testing your page on a phone. This takes 20 to 40 seconds.
What we’re looking at:
- Loads the page on a mid-range phone
- Times when the main content shows
- Measures how long the page is frozen
- Checks for jumping content
- Real visitors’ speed from Chrome
- What would save the most time
What the check looks at
- Real visitors (Core Web Vitals): how fast the page loads, reacts to taps and stays still for people using Chrome over the last 28 days. Google uses these in ranking. Smaller sites may not have enough visits yet.
- Google’s test phone: a fresh load on a mid-range phone and a slower mobile connection, the same test as Google’s PageSpeed Insights.
- What to fix: the suggestions that would save the most time, such as oversized pictures, unused code, slow servers and files that block the page from showing.
The score is Google’s performance score for phones. It moves a few points between runs, so look at the trend, not one number.
